About AppsLupa

AppsLupa is run by Andrew, an independent developer who has been collecting App Store data since 2023. This site exists because the question people actually ask about an app is not "is it good" but "what will it charge me, and can I get out".

Where the data comes from

• Prices, subscription plans and trial terms are read from the US App Store and re-checked daily. Price changes are kept as a log.
• Reviews are the public App Store reviews. We count how many mention charges, subscriptions, refunds or cancelling, and quote a few recent ones verbatim, truncated.
• Developer history is the developer's own catalog: how many apps they published and how many are no longer in the store.
• Nothing on a page is written by hand per app. Every sentence is generated from the numbers, and every label links to its evidence.

What we do not do

We do not take payment from developers to change a page, and we do not remove pages on request. Factual errors are corrected: write to [email protected] with the app's link and the number you dispute.
